license your music

Wassup everybody!  Back again with another entry journal so to speak of my journey learning to license your music.  I am in the School of Clint named after the homey Anthony Clint, Jr. If u don’t know who he is, please click on his name.  I’m learning so much from him. This is part 3 but feel free to check out the previous entry just in case you missed it. By the way, if you are not willing to work, this may not be for you…Just sayin’ LOL

WEEK 3

Put Your Old Beats To Use

The day of April 12, 2016  I sent 2 emails (I’ve been making it a point to send at least 2 emails everyday).  Later that same day i got a response giving me instructions on what to do.  If they like what they hear, they will contact me with further information.  This let me know that my next step is to build a nice resume of beats even if I don’t get another response.  I’ve also learned that it’s a good idea to study what works for any particular company’s library.  Some of you may be like me and already have tons of beats just lying around collecting dust.  Raise your hand if that’s you…LOL!license your music

I plan on going back and working to get some use out of them.  Even if you think some beats are trash, go back and polish them up if you have to and then send them out.  My goal this week is to have at least 10 beats ready to go at any given time.  This may not sound like much, but if you are super busy like myself, remember consistency is the key.  Well that along with patience will push you along in the right direction.  If you wanna license your music, please stick with me. Comment below if you have any questions.  Let’s get it yall!
